Work has been keeping me busy and I haven’t had time to do any new sketches this week. So- here’s a spread from a children’s book I illustrated in 2004. I’ll put up something more exciting soon.

My grandma wore a dress that looked a lot like this.

So, today’s sketch is taking more time than I have to spend on it. I’ll finish it up tomorrow

I’ve spent a lot of time sitting at a computer these last few years - and I really enjoy it.
But the way wet colors bleed into each other on a piece of paper can’t be replicated.
