Dude, that chicken should work at the IHOP in Turlock.

This is such a creative (and really brilliant) concept! I really like the metallic surface texture of its body…it is a very pretty chicken-robot:>

That is such an orginal take on the idea! I like the color palette, as well as the fact that the ro-bok looks a little aged/rusty. Very nice.

Great take on the idea! I like the color palette, and the fact that the ro-bok looks slightly aged/rusted. Great job!

Turlockian Waitress: How’s your egg?
Disgruntled Egg Orderer: Is the yolk supposed to be runny?
Turlockian Waitress: (knits brows) NO! (swipes plate of supposedly over-hard egg preparatory to running into kitchen to verbally berate short-order cook).

hmmm . . . where’s the button for omellet??? How did you create this? Manually, digtially, or both? Love your header, too.

This is one funky chicken, with some great texture. Excellent work. All you need now is a companion robotic waffle.

This one was tough. I hadn’t drawn robots before. I love the shapes and colors of old tin toy robots- I even have a few of them- but I didn’t want to simply put rivets on cones, cylinders and cubes. I needed a wacky concept to get me excited about introducing a new robot to the over-populated robot world. After a few sketches, the “ro-bok” showed up (I have somewhat of a history with both chickens and their eggs). The sketch made me laugh, so I scanned it and painted it up in Photoshop.
Thanks for all the nice comments – and thanks to Dan for the challenging topic suggestion!

What kind of a sound would this make; I need to know. Poketa, poketa, tapoketa?
