Here is my silly cheesy poem
There was a little boy named Skip
All he wanted to do was go on a trip
He wanted to go to some place far
But he was too young to drive a car
He thought and thought with all his might
But Skip could not decide on a place in sight
His Uncle Paul told him that in dreams you can travel far without cars
So that night in Skip’s dream he traveled far to play with a purple elephant in the stars

Childhood
Oh joyful years of floating among the stars
tickled by warm, sweet delights.
Oh wondrous spell, of days and nights
filled with elephant dreams.

There once was an extraterrestrial pachyderm
his resolve to be alone was quite firm
But in space he was quite lonely
So he’d find a friend if only
that friend would agree to his term
So he had his eye on a hippy
but ended up choosing little ol’ skippy.
With his very large trunk,
sucked him out of his bunk.
To be honest it was quite zippy.
So his new friend was Ace
(or I guess you could call him what’s his face)
They played in the stars,
where there was no pollution from cars
and together they had fun in space.

I’m voting for Angelo. Funny, short and sweet, and it rhymes. Does it get any better?
